摘要: We present facetons, geometric modeling primitives designed for building architectural models especially effective a virtual environment where six degrees of freedom input devices are available. A faceton is an oriented point floating in the air and defines plane infinite extent passing through point. The polygonal mesh model constructed by taking intersection planes associated with facetons. With simple interaction faceton, users can easily create 3D architecture models. primitive its reduce overhead standard modeling, have to manually specify vertexes edges which could be far away. representation inspired research on boundary representations B-rep constructive solid geometry, but it driven novel adaptive bounding algorithm specifically activities immersive environment. describe method our current implementation. implementation still experimental shows potential as viable alternative traditional methods.
