摘要: The running time for high fidelity simulation of large-scale mobile ad hoc networks can be prohibitively high. execution physical effects calculations a single transmission alone grow unmanageable to account all potential receivers. Discrete event simulators also suffer from excessive generation and processing events, both due network size model complexity. In this paper, we present three levels abstracting the IEEE 802.11 RTS/CTS channel access mechanism. process assessing their ability mitigate runtime-cost while retaining comparable results that commercially available simulator, OPNET, found abstractions were better suited collecting one metric over another.
