摘要: Members of the PPARγ coactivator-1 (PGC-1) family transcriptional coactivators serve as inducible coregulators nuclear receptors in control cellular energy metabolic pathways. This Review focuses on biologic and physiologic functions PGC-1 coactivators, with particular emphasis striated muscle, liver, other organ systems relevant to common diseases such diabetes heart failure.
