摘要: Field plots were used to assess the restoration potential of three salt marsh species, Juncus maritimus, Leptocarpus similis and Schoenoplectus pungens, within an established near Christchurch, New Zealand. A split-block design was asses effects soil type, (soil from a proposed construction site or estuarine mud natural marsh), species plant source (commercial nursery stocks stock). In December, after 9 months, there no mortality in L. significant increase biomass compared with J. maritimus. S. pungens failed regenerate following seasonal die-back. Plant unaffected by despite occasional higher salinities recorded reclamation soil. Natural had significantly than (p < 0.01). These results suggest that both maritimus are appropriate for transplanting Canterbury region area is suitable tidal wetlands. The success transplants could be enhanced sourcing hardy stock management regimes may necessary reduce salinity extremes herbivory rabbits.
