摘要: Abstract We have used the caged calcium compound DM-nitrophen to investigate kinetics of calcium-dependent secretion in bovine chromaffin cells. Perfusion with partially calcium-loaded nitrophen often caused a loading transient-slow for up 1 min due displacement Ca 2+ by cytoplasmic Mg . Flash photolysis elicited 100 μM [Ca ] i steps that evoked intense secretion, lasting few seconds. In cells experiencing transient, an especially fast secretion. A persistent, slow followed these phases. Distinct kinetic components may reflect from pools are differentially capable release. Both and movement vesicles between appear be sensitive. Later sometimes rapid capacitance decrease, indicating fast, -dependent phase endocytosis.
