摘要: The inverse normal and Fisher's methods are two common approaches for combining P-values. Whitlock demonstrated that a weighted version of the method, or 'weighted Z-test', is superior to method P-values one-sided T-tests. problem with it does not take advantage weighting loses power Z-test when studies differently sized. This issue was recently revisited by Chen, who observed Lancaster's variation had higher than Z-test. Nevertheless, has comparable its weights set square roots sample sizes. Power can be further improved additional information available. Although there no single approach best in every situation, enjoys certain properties make an appealing choice as combination meta-analysis.
