摘要: This paper presents a new decision-support methodology and software tool for sustainable management of urban pollution. A number different methods tools are integrated within the same platform, including GIS, LCA, fate transport modelling, health impact assessment multi-criteria decision analysis. The application framework is illustrated on case study which investigates environmental impacts pollution arising from industrial, domestic sources in city. example city chosen Sheffield, UK, main pollutants considered NOx, SO2 PM10. results suggest that absence current large industrial would lead to 90% reduction 70% NO2 ground concentrations, consequently preventing 27 deaths 18 respiratory hospital admissions per annum population 500,000. Based total annual mortality Sheffield year assessment, this means 0.53% premature 0.49% be prevented by estimated air
