摘要: During this study wipe sampling was applied to various impervious surfaces for the determination of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and dibenzo-p-dioxins dibenzofurans (PCDD/PCDFs) area concentrations. To that end, a method based on solvent wetted cotton wipes evaluated transfer efficiencies PCBs PCDD/PCDFs in particulate films (PFs) oily liquid (OFs) during were investigated. For PFs sufficient low concentrated PCB PCDD/PCDF congeners 1g/m(2) spiking surrogate achieved after first using n-hexane as wetting solvent. Transfer OFs highest if or n-heptane used rather than toluene. The experiments showed log-linear correlation between number wiping procedures efficiency which indicates constant subsequent wipes. Furthermore, it successfully demonstrated pressurized extraction is suitable tool samples. Finally, feasibility different origin, concentration levels samples are discussed. Hereby, remarkably high ∑CB6 concentrations up 1400μg/m(2) (taken at transformer recycling site) detected.
