摘要: The phosphorescence characteristics of 2-benzoylnaphthalene (2BN) dispersed within thin films poly(methyl methacrylate), acrylate), polystyrene and poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) respectively, are described. excited state decay kinetics the probe complex in each macromolecular hosts studied: such behaviour is considered to result from differing degrees phosphor–host matrix interaction but may also reflect, particularly case PAA, heterogeneities bulk polymer phase. thermal dependence intensity average lifetime various phosphor/polymer combinations were investigated with a view identifying host for high-performance coding ink. Preliminary data indicate that longest-lived, most intense triplet emission results 2BN doped PAA system.
