摘要: The human cerebellum contains more neurons than any other region in the brain and is a major actor motor control. Cerebellar circuitry unique by its stereotyped architecture modular organization. Understanding codes underlying organization of limb movement rules signal processing applied cerebellar circuits remains challenge for forthcoming decades. One cardinal deficits observed patients dysmetria, designating inability to perform accurate movements. Patients overshoot (hypermetria) or undershoot (hypometria) aimed target during voluntary goal-directed tasks. mechanisms dysmetria are reviewed, with an emphasis on roles pathways controlling fundamental aspects control such as anticipation, timing commands, sensorimotor synchronization, maintenance associations tuning magnitudes muscle activities. An overview recent advances our understanding contribution elaboration shaping commands provided, discussion relevant anatomy, results neurophysiological studies, computational models which have been proposed approach function.
