摘要: Obesity is prevalent among pregnant women in the United States; 15-20% of obese have obstructive sleep apnea. The prevalence apnea increases along with body mass index, age and presence other co-morbidities. Untreated associated a range cardiovascular, pulmonary metabolic co-morbidities; recent studies suggest that pregnancy may be at significantly greater risk entering chronic hypertension and/or developing hypertensive disorders pregnancy: gestational hypertension; preeclampsia; or eclampsia. This has serious public health implications; are major cause maternal neonatal morbidity mortality lifetime for cardiovascular disease. mechanisms not been defined, but several pathways scientifically plausible. In this review, we will present comprehensive literature review following: associations between pregnancy; proposed connect effectiveness treatment mitigating these adverse outcomes.
