Ecosystem Services - Examples of Their Valuation Methods in Czech Republic and Slovakia

摘要: This literature review deals with the understanding of ecosystem services related to question their applicability and appropriate methods for valuation. We distinguish between ecological valuation that aim assess significance landscape characteristics, conventional economic, i.e. monetary non-monetizing or assessment. Ecological evaluation derive values by following a cost production approach which neglects consumer preferences. Economic focus on exchange value services, they are based preferences, but do not adequately take into account complex internal structure ecosystems. conclude - from view implementation policy support consulting successful approaches should particularly consider relationships social aspects services' provision.
