Practice characteristics of male and female physician assistants.

摘要: In a national survey of 3,294 non-military responding physician assistants, sociodemographic and practice characteristics male female assistants were compared. Differences by specialty, setting, size community, hours work generally similar in nature, but smaller magnitude, than those reported for physicians, may not be practical significance.
