摘要: Abstract WHO Informal Working Groups on Echinococcosis were founded in 1985 and for 10 years, under the leadership of Prof. J. Eckert (Zurich, Switzerland), they contributed much to facilitate exchanges between interested scientists working their respective areas. In 1995, Veterinary Public Health Unit, at WHO, decided modify functioning transform them into a single Group. The Group brings together all involved research whatever specialty, field interest, or type studied. aim is establish international networks relevant, up-to-date and/or important problems basis i) cooperation, ii) high scientific standards, iii) accurate methodology. A Coordinator designated by has 4-year term. He/she assisted Coordinating Board. This board also proposed term, so that it can be regularly renewed.
