摘要: Burn threshold diagrams are useful for the prediction of thermally induced grinding damage and were originally developed to describe conventional shallow cut regime. With development new high stock removal processes such as High Efficiency Deep Grinding (HEDG), prevention thermal workpiece is particular concern. The principle HEDG based around change in characteristics process at Peclet numbers, whereby less heat partitioned workpiece. Conventional burn valid numbers below 50, well values expected HEDG. This study presents a modified approach construction which takes account partitioning with number. has been validated through trials over range specific material rates.
