摘要: A system and method for a seamless splicing/spot insertion strategy MPEG-2 digital video/audio transport stream with no previously encoded information. This strategy, considering the time dependency between frames, results in new smooth transition from main to spot without any mark increasing possibilities utilization of contents. further facilitates local remote switching (like advertisement insertion) produces successful decoding presentation all packets around splicing point. It takes into account several kinds related discontinuities: header continuity counter gaps, temporal reference discontinuity frame PCR/PTS/DTS discontinuities.
