摘要: Many endogenous and xenobiotic substances their metabolites are substrates for drug metabolizing enzymes cellular transporters. These proteins may not only contribute to bioavailability of molecules but also uptake into organs and, consequently, overall elimination. The coordinated action transporters, enzymes, efflux pumps, therefore, is a precondition detoxification elimination drugs. As the understanding underlying mechanisms important predict alterations in disposal, adverse reactions finally, drug–drug interactions, this review illustrates interplay between selected uptake/efflux transporters phase I/II enzymes.
