Analysis of the Lake Superior Watershed Seasonal Snow Cover

摘要: Abstract : Daily estimates of the snow water equivalent (SWE) distribution for period from 1 December through 30 April each winter season 1979 80 2002 03 were calculated entire Lake Superior watershed. The calculations based on numerous groundbased daily observations collected and compiled by National Weather Service in United States Meteorological Canada Canada. SWE then used to determine annual accumulation melt characteristics watershed, along with series maximum volume incremental accumulated volume. Selected results are also shown individual sub-basins. Maps prepared mean distributions 1st 15th day month.
