摘要: Objectives: Automated bladder ultrasound (ABUS) devices are portable and designed to provide automated measurement of volume. They simple require minimal training compared conventional real-time (RTUS). Their most common application in the acute pediatric setting is assess volumes prior performing invasive urine collection such as suprapubic aspiration (SPA) children younger than 2 years age. However, data on ABUS young limited. The aim this study was repeatability accuracy one type ABUS, BladderScan, measuring volume aged 0 24 months when with RTUS. Methods: Healthy were scanned twice, 1 hour apart, using readings performed by two senior emergency physicians who both completed three for each child. measurements repeated a second machine case variability. RTUS sonographer blinded results. Bland-Altman analysis determine coefficient (repeatability) limits clinical agreement (accuracy). Results: Bladder 61 (31 males; mean ± SD = age 11 6.2 months; range months) There wide variation between measurements. within 20 mL.
