摘要: Polymer scale removal from vinyl polymerization reactors is effected without the use of polar aprotic solvents or aromatic solvents, by adding to reactor, a composition comprising acetone, most minor amount strong base, and hydroxyl- amino-functional organic solvent. The may contain surfactants, chelating sequestering agents, detergent builders, like, water in amounts up about 3 weight percent. Scale efficient rapid when removing agitated reactor at temperatures ranging 50° C. 120°
