摘要: Abstract In the monkey (baboon or squirrel monkey) displaying a high level of vigilance, particular type spontaneous ECoG rhythm develops when subject is motionless and fixes its attention on visual target in surroundings. This activity, whose frequency averages around 18 c/sec, distributed over two restricted cortical foci, one SI hand area (Brodmann's fields 1 2) other posterior parietal cortex (area 5). These rhythms are blocked by least body movement (but not eye movements). view their location reactivity, rolandic portion these belongs to ‘mu’ as described man. The suggestion made that this synchronized activity favours maintenance immobility well fixation non-somaesthetic temporarily blocking both somaesthetic (in SI) somatopraxic integration
