摘要: Magnetosensitivity of the Japanese eel, Anguilla japonica, was examined by conditioning and electrocardiography. Marine eels, river eels farmed were conditioned to an imposed magnetic field ranging from 12,663 nT 192,473 parallel fish body, which placed along earth's west-east axis. Electrocardiograms recorded with electrodes close body inside a PVC pipe shelter. After 10-40 runs, all exhibited significant response (i.e. slowing heart beat) even field, respectively equivalent 5.92x 0.38x horizontal geomagnetic (32,524 nT) at our laboratory. The vector (12,663 combined that produced resultant 21 degrees easterly. Therefore, eel are magnetosensitive whether they sea, in or farm. Results present study compared those past studies showed no sense American rostrata, European anguilla.
