摘要: Abstract A procedure has been developed in which the presence of PCH3-containing compounds surface waters can be detected a sensitive and specific way. The interest are hydrolysed, yielding methylphosphonic acid as common breakdown product. This is concentrated using an anion-exchange column subsequently transformed into its dimethyl ester by diazomethane. After clean-up on microsilica gel analysed means gas chromatography thermionic detector phosphorus detector. lowest detectable concentration approximately 1 nmol compound per litre water. Samples from rivers Rhine Meuse two lakes Netherlands were analysed. Concentration levels 0.1 – μg/l expressed found. origin their possible accumulation environment discussed.
