摘要: Tertiary hospitals have registered an incremental rise in expenditure mostly because of the increasing demands by ageing populations. Reducing length stay (LOS) patients within tertiary is one strategies, which has been used last decades to ensure health care systems’ sustainability. Furthermore, LOS key performance indicators, widely assess hospital efficiency. Hence, it crucial that policy makers use evidence-based practices aim for optimal LOS. The purpose this paper identify and summarize empirical research brings together studies on various variables directly or indirectly impact so as develop a causal systems model.,This scoping review was guided following question: “What affecting tertiary-level care?” guidelines specified Arksey O’Malley (2005), Armstrong et al. (2011). Relevant current literature retrieved searching electronic databases. PRISMA model provided process select eligible studies.,An extensive search yielded total 30,350 references 46 were included final analysis. These articles variables, directly/indirectly are linked then organized according Donabedian – structure, processes outcomes. resultant reflects its complexity confirms consideration scholars field complex adaptive systems, managers must respond challenges holistically.,This illustrates emerged from may be value future research. It also highlighted construct under study.
