摘要: The height and shape of shrub canopies are critical measurements for characterizing steppe rangelands. Remote sensing technologies might provide an efficient method to acquire these across large areas. This study compared point-cloud rasterized lidar data field-measured sagebrush quantify the correlation between field-based lidar-derived estimates. results demonstrated that discrete return, small-footprint with high point density (9.46 points/m 2 ) can strong predictions true (R 0.84 0.86), but a consistent underestimation approximately 30 percent. Our provided first successful lidar-based descriptors R values 0.65, 0.74, 0.78 respective shortest canopy diameter, longest area. Future studies extend volume, cover, biomass
