摘要: Seven F1 hybrids involving nine varieties/ lines of chickpea ( Cicer arietinum L.) were evaluated to identify superior cross combination. The experiment was laid out in randomized complete bock design estimate hetero sis and heterobeltosis grain yield components. Significant differences among genotypes observed all the characters studied. magnitud e hybrid vigour varied significantly between hybrids. Heterosis for plant height from -2.33% 15.57%. heterotic effects primary secondary branches -20.06% 58.52% -20.70% 49.08% respectively. number pods -1 , seeds pod 100-seed weight respectively 41.89% 59.68%, 26.39% 48.03% -33.24% 33.18%. Maximum heterosis combination K0014-10 × K0066-10 while K0019-10 K0031-10 exhibited maximum seed palnt whereas K0052-10 reflect 33.18% & 30.84% 100 97.37% 76.47% Broad sense heritability different traits studied ranged 63.14% 77.18%. High heterosis, genetic advance num ber which could be utilized identification best segregat es crosses K0052-10, K0026-10 K0031-10. Superior this study used improvement more than one character through selection single plants with various traits.
