摘要: It has been reported that owing to a densification of the internal structure concrete, adding mineral admixtures leads more brittle behaviour. Therefore, with intention modifying (increasing strength of) foamed concrete make it suitable for structural purposes by means and lightweight aggregate addition, effect these additions on failure mechanism under compressive tensile loading using different techniques is evaluated discussed in this paper. Eight mixes, made pre-formed foam, were investigated varying density (different foam volumes), nominally 1300, 1600 1900 kg/m3, without/with (silica fume, fly ash superplasticizer) aggregate. The Digital Image Correlation (DIC) technique was adopted measure deformations strains surface specimen uniaxial load. Meanwhile, Video Gauge used horizontal deformation discs during splitting test. From elasticity, fracture fractal points view, found that, same density, brittleness increases many additives while reduces inclusion However, all lower (higher added volume), higher ductility.
