Sunlight induced catalytic degradation of bromophenol blue and antibacterial performance of graphene nanoplatelets/polypyrrole nanocomposites

摘要: Abstract Graphene-polymer nanocomposites are innovative materials that have attracted much attention due to their novel features. Herein, we report photocatalytic and antibacterial properties of GNP-PPy nanocomposites. The formation was confirmed by various characterization techniques. assembly GNPs PPy NPs with optimized GNP content amazingly increased the degradation bromophenol blue (BPB) up 93% under solar light irradiation in 120 min. assay revealed 50% GNPs-PPy nanocomposite showed a best (32.43%) inhibition growth against Gram negative bacteria E. coli. can possibly be utilized as multifunctional material for wastewater treatment antimicrobial agent.
