摘要: In last few years ,microblogging sites like Twitter have been evolved as a repository of critical situational information during various mass emergencies. However, messages posted on microblogging often contain non-actionable such sympathy and prayer for victims. Moreover, sometimes rumors overstated facts. situations, identification tweets that report some relevant actionable is extremely important effective coordination post-disaster relief operations. Thus, efficient IR methodologies are required to identify information. Additionally, cross-verification practical necessity ensure the trustworthiness. To this end, we organized ‘Information Retrieval from Microblogs Disasters (IRMiDis)’ shared task with FIRE conference consecutive 3 (2016, 2017 2018). each year’s track, given associated extraction specific aid operation asked participants propose methodologies. Our present study provides brief description tasks (research problem) in these tracks, summary all submitted runs finally our proposed address research problems IRMidis track.
