摘要: SensorScope is a turnkey solution for environmental monitoring systems, based on wireless sensor network and resulting from collaboration between researchers. Given the interest in climate change, domain where networks will have great impact by providing high resolution spatio-temporal data long periods of time. such system, which has already been successfully deployed multiple times various environments (e.g., mountainous, urban). Here, we describe overall hardware software architectures especially focus itself. We also one our most prominent deployments, top rock glacier Switzerland, resulted description micro-climate phenomenon leading to cold air release rock-covered region alpine risks. Another this paper what happened behind scenes turn laboratory experiment into successful outdoor deployments harsh environments. Illustrated examples, point out many lessons learned while working project. indicate importance simple code, well suited application, as value close interaction with end-users planning running finally exploiting data.
