High-power difference-frequency generation at 4.4-5.7 µm in LiIO 3

摘要: Efficient generation of high-power difference-frequency radiation, continuously tunable over the range 4.4-5.7 \mu m, has been achieved by mixing Nd :YAG laser and pumped infrared dye-laser outputs in LiIO 3 . Peak pulse powers as high 550 kW with an average power output 45 mW were obtained around 4.9μm.
