摘要: The present invention provides a method of synthesizing library chemical compounds with skeletal diversity. Two approaches are used to create diversity within compounds: (1) the “branching pathways” (or reagent-based) approach; and (2) “folding substrate-based) approach. Upon exposure certain reaction conditions members undergo unique transformations into diverse collection molecular skeletons, which can be functionalized derivatized further generate large unique, natural product-like compounds. A furan-based synthesized using folding pathways approach is provided, polycyclic created braching also provided. materials, reagents, intermediates, kits useful in practice inventive as well for screening
