摘要: As plants are confined to the place where they grow, have develop a broad range of defence responses cope with pathogenic infections. The oxidative burst, rapid, transient, production huge amounts reactive oxygen species (ROS), is one earliest observable aspects plant's strategy. First this Review describes chemistry ROS (superoxide radical, hydrogen peroxide and hydroxyl radical). Secondly, role in demonstrated, some important issues considered, such as: (1) which major building element burst; (2) spatial temporal regulation (3) differences biotic abiotic elicitation. Thirdly, relationships between burst other plant indicated. These include: an consumption, phytoalexins, systemic acquired resistance, (4) immobilization cell wall proteins, (5) changes membrane permeability ion fluxes (6) putative hypersensitive death. Wherever possible, comparisons models applicable animal systems presented. Finally, question origin two hypotheses, action NADPH oxidase system analogous that phagocytes, pH-dependent generation by peroxidase, On basis material, third 'unifying' hypothesis presented, transient pH compartment indicated as core phenomenon evoking production. Additionally, germin/oxalate generates H2O2 response infection also described.
