Full-disk synoptic observations of the chromosphere using Hα telescope at the Kodaikanal Observatory

摘要: This paper reports on the installation and observations of a new solar telescope installed 2014 October 7 at Kodaikanal Observatory. The is refractive type equipped with tunable Lyot Hα filter. A CCD camera size 2k×2k acquires images Sun has pixel 1.21'' pixel−1 full field-of-view 41'. guiding system which keeps image within few pixels throughout observations. FWHM filter 0.4A motorized, capable scanning line profile smaller step 0.01A. Partial-disk imaging covering about 10' also possible help relay lens kept in front camera. In this paper, we report detailed specifications telescope, unit, installation, procedures have followed to calibrate align data. We present preliminary results full-disk telescope.
