摘要: Abstract Background: Breast reconstruction is currently offered on a more routine basis to patients after mastectomy for breast cancer. This paper analyzes the outcomes of cancer surgery, and results effects using free TRAM flaps. Methods: A retrospective review 75 consecutive who had transverse rectus abdominis myocutaneous (TRAM) flap surgery was performed. total 92 flaps were performed in Victoria, British Columbia, from January 1992 May 1999. Thirty-three (44%) underwent primary an immediate (7 bilateral 27 unilateral) 42 (56%) delayed (10 32 unilateral). Results: Twenty- one (28%) stage 0 disease, 20 (26.7%) I 17 (22.7%) IIA 12 (15%) IIB 4 (5.3%) IIIA disease. In 1 patient disease unknown. The mean age 49.4 years (range 33 73).
