摘要: A computer program using Monte Carlo methods has been developed for the simulation of photon scattering in tissue-equivalent phantoms incident x-rays diagnostic energy range. The study verified that sampling schemes used can produce random samples according to theoretical probability distribution functions which describe photon-scattering process. was applied determinations scatter fractions and edge responses various phantom sizes, X-ray energies, recording systems. These quantities were also measured experimentally under comparable imaging conditions. Excellent agreement obtained between predicted experimental results. This investigation established validity our calculations studies physical characteristics scattered radiation radiology.
