摘要: Abstract Objective To evaluate the change in intraocular pressure (IOP) subjects with Graves' orbitopathy (GO) after orbital decompression, strabismus surgery, and radiation. Design Retrospective case review. Methods The charts of 172 consecutive from Neuro-ophthalmology Service at Wills Eye Hospital (Philadelphia, PA) GO who underwent either or radiation between 1994 1999 were analyzed. Subject age, gender, diagnosis glaucoma eye, use systemic steroids topical medications, procedure performed, preoperative postoperative IOP (in primary position upgaze) evaluated. Results Of 116 eyes that mean was 21.6 ± 4.6 mmHg (standard deviation) 27.9 6.8 upgaze. 17.5 3.0 20.1 4.7 upgaze, a decrease 18.9% 27.9% upgaze ( P Conclusions In selected subgroup required intervention, decompression surgery resulted significant reduction early period, especially greater than 21 mmHg.
