ES Critical Reviews: Transformations of halogenated aliphatic compounds

摘要: This article summarizes and systematizes the current understanding of abiotic biotic chemistry halogenated aliphatic compounds. Knowledge transformations can provide a conceptual framework for biologically mediated transformations. Most are slow, but they still be significant within time scales commonly associated with ground water movement. In contrast, typically proceed much faster, provided that there sufficient substrate nutrients microbial population mediate such transformation. Recent studies, which describe compounds in mammalian systems, also discussed. These studies reveal broad patterns transformation biological systems general. 114 references, 8 figures, 12 tables.
