摘要: A high throughput screening (HTS) methodology for evaluation of cellular lipid content based on Nile red fluorescence reads using black background 96-wells test plates and a plate reader equipment allowed the rapid intracellular estimation strains from Brazilian phylloplane yeast collection. new oleaginous yeast, Meyerozyma guilliermondii BI281A, was selected, which gravimetric determination total lipids relative to dry weight 52.38% glucose or 34.97% pure glycerol. The production optimized obtaining 108 mg/L neutral glycerol as carbon source, strain proved capable accumulating oil raw biodiesel refinery. profile showed monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) varying between 56 74% in glycerol, respectively. M. BI281A bears potential feedstock.
