摘要: Heterocyclic compounds have played a significant role in the field of photochromism with applications ranging from energy production, chemical sensing, and molecular actuators to biological systems. While heterocyclic photochromic materials can be both P-type T-type, herein we focus on background, synthesis, properties, specifically T-type derived heterocycles. It is goal this chapter bring greater attention these emergent architectures hopes further advancing their field.
