摘要: The objective of this study is to evaluate the relationship between social cognition (SC) and cognitive impairment in persons with multiple sclerosis (PwMS). A prospective was conducted 60 PwMS, 30 relapsing-remitting MS (RRMS), 15 secondary progressive (SPMS) primary (PPMS), healthy subjects (HS). All were assessed by Bordeaux Social Cognition Evaluation Protocol (PECS-B) (facial emotion recognition, theory mind, emotional awareness affective alexithymia), a large neuropsychological battery questionnaires (depression anxiety). 43.3% PwMS impaired for at least one SC test. proportion two tests similar all three phenotypes (20%). Mean scores differed significantly HS only Reading Mind Eyes Test, test Theory (ToM). ANOVA analyses showed an effect phenotype on lower PPMS as compared RRMS. ToM performance correlated (r 2 = 0.56) executive functions, working memory episodic scores. found more prominent cognitively patients. Executive accounts approximately 50% performance. Emotional MS.
