摘要: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the 12-month retention and wear an experimental light-cured glass ionomer for pit fissure sealing. A total 25 patients 7-14 years-old were selected from Pediatric Dentistry Clinic at University Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. resided in areas without fluoridated water. Each tooth isolated with cotton rolls, dried oil-free compressed air GC Dentin Conditioner applied a small disposable brush pits fissures 20 seconds. teeth rinsed water gently using air/water syringe. not desiccated. used. powder/liquid ratio dispensed 1.4 gm/1.0 gm (one level spoonful powder one drop liquid). mixed 15-20 An explorer used apply sealant teased into all fissures. then cured Occlusion corrected after light-cured. Immediately, color slide vinyl polysiloxane impressions taken. poured epoxy resin. Color slides, models also made 3, 6, 9 recalls. 95 sealants placed follow-up 12 months. results showed that clinical visual inspection present 3 6 months postoperatively.
