摘要: Laser surface melting (LSM) pretreatment and micro-arc oxidation (MAO) were performed to the AZ91D magnesium alloy improve corrosion resistance. The microstructure, morphologies, phase constituents electrochemical behavior investigated by optical microscope (OM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD) impedance (EIS) measurements respectively. results showed that obtained a continuous uniform laser-melted layer with thickness of 1 mm refined microstructure. MAO coating on had micro-pores size than original substrate without laser pretreatment, correspondingly, lower current density larger value found LSM treatment. It implies LSM-MAO more effect improving resistance compared singular coating.
