摘要: Two-dimensional materials attract enormous attention across several scientific fields. The current demands in nano- and optoelectronics, semiconductors, or catalysis have been accelerating the research process field of 2D materials. Among 14th group besides graphene silicene, layered germanium represents a promising candidate for another class materials, its functionalization way to tune either electronic optical properties. Here, exfoliation germanane surface is achieved via abstraction hydrogen from Ge-H bond subsequent alkylation utilizing n-alkyl halides trifluoromethyl (CF3) containing benzyl halides. Composition confirmed by methods including FT-IR, Raman, X-ray photoelectron, energy-dispersive spectroscopy as well powder diffraction. Scanning transmission electron used reveal morphology functionalized germananes.
