In the Netherlands approximately 50,000 patients die each year from cardiovascular disease, which is 35% all deaths 1. United States, this number over 930,000 per 2. Cardiovascular includes diseases heart or blood vessels. This thesis concentrates on arterial stenosis system, specifically coronary arteries, carotid arteries, peripheral and renal arteries. Arterial in these areas may lead to severe morbidity due to, for example, myocardial infarction, stroke, limb amputation, dysfunction, thus has an enormous impact quality life the patient death3-6. Therefore, it important diagnose disease accurately, so that adequate treatment can be initiated.
