摘要: Abstract Laser control melting of dual matrix cast iron surface is carried out. A carbon film containing 15% WC particles formed at the prior to laser treatment and spiral tracks are adopted for scanning workpiece surface. Morphological, metallurgical, microhardness, scratch resistance treated examined using analytical tools. Temperature stress fields in irradiated region predicted incorporating ABAQUS finite element code. Predictions temperature residual validated with thermocouple X-ray diffraction data. It found that predictions agree well their counterparts corresponding data findings technique. free from asperities including voids micro-cracks despite mismatch thermal expansion coefficients iron.
