摘要: Parkinson's disease is a severe, age-related neurodegenerative disorder in which loss of substantia nigra-derived dopaminergic pathways to the striatum triggers profound motor perturbation, as well cognitive, sensory and mood deficits. Although dopamine precursor, L-dopa, effective short-term relieving dysfunction, it does not stop progressive disappearance neurons, encouraging interest alternative therapeutic strategies. Dopaminergic agonists, such pramipexole, appear have neuroprotective neurorestorative actions based on clinical and, most convincingly, experimental work. The role specific receptor subtypes an important issue, especially with respect new drug development. Of particular interest, D3 receptors contribute beneficial influence agonists for protection restoration disease.
