An improved empirical correlation for the thermal conductivity of propane

摘要: New experimental data on the thermal conductivity of propane have been reported since wide-range correlations proposed by Holland et al. and Younglove Ely. These new data, covering a temperature range 110 to 700 K pressure 0.1 70 MPa, are used together with previously available develop an improved empirical equation for gaseous liquid propane. The quality is such that thermal-conductivity correlation estimated uncertainty about ±5% at 95% confidence level, exception state points near critical point, where increases ±10%.
