摘要: The influence of cold rolling on the pitting resistance stainless steels is investigated with respect to austenite stability. A maximum in initiation frequency for 20% reduction confirmed whatever stability, but value this fairly correlates amount deformation-induced martensite. direct dislocations piling-up and an indirect role martensite as a pile-up stabilizer postulated. In potentiostatic regime, work shown lower repassivation ability increase number stable pits. Then, addition alloying elements (such copper) affects not only chemical also mechanical reasons their effect staking fault energy stability), confirming decisive microstructure corrosion industrial alloys.
