摘要: The participation of active defense responses in the limitation fungal spread sapwood living sugi tree was determined. Isolates ofGuignardia cryptomeriae were inoculated to trees, fresh logs, frozen and thawed logs autoclaved wood discoloration hyphae assessed. In freeze-treated reaction zone formation not observed, both virulent avirulent isolates grew rapidly wood. a pale transition observed. Virulent rapidly, but inhibited. observed zones formed at lesion margins. These results indicated that constitutive mechanisms had no effect on isolates, important hyphae, hence discoloration. Further, it appeared avirulent, virulent, races ofG. easily inhibited even by weak host responses.
